

Svetlana Snezhko, compliance professional.
Leading Compliance Manager of one of the largest Russian Telecom operators. She has five years of experience in the telecommunications industry, implementing and maintaining compliance management systems in accordance with international standards, coordinating various compliance programs, and in particular, specializing in anti-corruption compliance (in accordance with FCPA, UK BA and Russian legislation).
Among other professional interests are corporate social responsibility, sustainability factors and non-financial reporting. She is the author of a research “Compliance: Liability or Asset?” Compliance in Sustainability Reporting devoted to the issue of disclosing information on compliance in non-financial reporting. The work was performed under Istanbul Bosphorus University (boun.edu.tr).
Svetlana is a post-graduate of MSU (Lomonosov Moscow State University), holding a PhD in Sociology of management and an ICA (International Compliance Association) graduate with Int. Dip (comp), and has publications in periodicals, including articles on compliance issues.
